DR. STEVE DUNN

Chiropractor/Owner

Dr. Dunn graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he fine tuned his diagnostic and treatment skills. Following his desire to provide comprehensive care to the public he Contemporary Acupuncture for Medical Professionals at McMaster University.

Dr. Steven Dunn's passion for Chiropractic developed from the treatment he received for the several sports injuries he obtained as an active youth in competitive sports. His realization that the Chiropractic was for him came at a young age when most other therapies he pursued to alleviate a severe injury left him in pain and unsatisfied with his progress. "A Chiropractor was the first person in over a week that could allow me to breathe fully and without pain."

Dr. Dunn's philosophy is that every patient, every condition is highly personalized. "The key to recovery lies within the diagnosis and the ability to determine the source of the problem." Treatment plans are customized to each individual patient to ensure the most efficient and fullest recovery possible. Along the road to recovery the value of supportive and maintenance care may be discussed.

Dr. Dunn further believes that "Health is available without a prescription," and that living a balanced life which includes appropriate chiropractic care, appropriate exercise and appropriate nutrition will lead you towards wellness.

DR. LAUREN WIGHT

Chiropractor

Dr. Lauren first became involved in chiropractic care as a young athlete. She was a competitive figure skater until beginning her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario. While completing her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology, Dr. Lauren continued to compete in figure skating at the recreational level. Chiropractic care helped manage many of her injuries, including (but not limited to) chronic ankle sprains, low back pain, and hip pain.
She is now a doctor of chiropractic, having graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2016. She is married and has a busy 5 year old daughter named Harley. Dr. Lauren has always had a passion for treating athletes, which she now shares with a passion for treating pregnant women, the parents of young children, and children themselves. Being able to provide some much needed relief to pregnant women is something that provides her with great satisfaction. Dr. Lauren can sympathize with “parenting injuries” that occur, perhaps from sleeping on the floor in your child’s room, lunging to catch them before they fall, leaning over the crib until they fall asleep, or carrying them around with one arm while you try to multi-task. Parents (particularly those with young children), tend to put themselves second to their children. As such,  she loves to be able to help parents put themselves first. Dr. Lauren also loves working with children.  As a parent she knows there is nothing quite as distressing as seeing your child uncomfortable.  As a doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Lauren is proud to help anyone suffering an injury or discomfort, achieve optimal health.
